FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Last Few Spots Open for Teen Arts Camp
The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts has announced a few spots still open for their annual Summer Arts Camp for Teens.
Teen Camp will be the week of July 9 and is designed for 7th to 12th graders. The sessions are Monday through Friday, noon to 4pm. These remaining spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. All students interested in art camp must fill out an application and the camp fees must be submitted with the application in order to reserve a space.
Each day the teens spend one hour with four different teaching artists working on a variety of projects involving everything from painting, theater games, and clay pottery. Registration is $45 per student for SICA members and $75 for non-members. All art supplies are included and the students will receive a snack and drink each day of camp.
To reserve a spot in SICA’s Summer Arts Camp call 812-522-2278 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Click the word “registration” to go directly to the form.
You may also register at the Art Center Tuesdays through Fridays, noon to 5 pm, and Saturdays, 11 am to 3 pm. SICA is located at 2001 Ewing St. in Seymour. Memberships may also be purchased through the SICA office and new members will receive the camp discounts. One-year SICA memberships are available at $25 for individuals and $50 for a family and include discounts for future classes and events at the Center as well. Grandparents who have a SICA Family Membership may enroll their grandchildren at the member’s discount rate.
