The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts has announced a few spots still open for their annual Summer Arts Camp. Week one is full but there are a few openings left for the remaining four weeks.
Students grade 3 through 6 have only few open spots the week of June 11, June 18, or June 25. Camp these weeks is 9am to 12:30pm.
Teen camp has a few openings the week of July 9. Teen camp if for 7th to 12th graders and runs from noon to 4pm.
Each week of camp runs Monday through Friday. These spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. All students interested in art camp must fill out an application and the camp fees must be submitted with the application in order to reserve a space.
Each day the campers spend 3.5 hours with four different teaching artists working on a variety of projects involving everything from painting, to mask making, to clay pottery.
Registration is $45 each member/$75 each non-members. All art supplies are included and the students will receive a snack and drink each day of camp.

Applications may be found on the SICA Facebook or you may also register at the SICA Tuesdays through Fridays, noon to 5 pm, and Saturdays, 11 am to 3 pm.
SICA is located at 2001 Ewing St. in Seymour. Memberships may also be purchased through the SICA office and new members will receive the camp discounts. One-year SICA memberships are available at $25 for individuals and $50 for a family and include discounts for future classes and events at the Center as well. Grandparents who have a SICA Family Membership may enroll their grandchildren at the member’s discount rate.
