FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SICA is offering an art class designed specifically for youngsters and their moms. First Class Art is a class designed for first-grade children ages 6 or 7 years old.
The class will give the children an opportunity to explore a fun art class with teaching artist Kay Fox in one studio room while their mothers (grandmothers and caregivers are welcome, too!) are in the next room working with jewelry artist Amanda Neal making a bracelet.
The children will be designing rainbows and clouds mobiles, painting with watercolors, and drawing with pastels.
First Class Art is Saturday, January 21, and will be repeated every month through May on the third Saturday of the month. The class will be from 10 am to 11:30 am. The First Class Art for kids and the jewelry-making class for moms is $31 for non-members and $26 for SICA members.
If parents or caregivers want to purchase the class for their child without the adult jewelry class, the fee is $10 member/$12.50 non-members. All supplies provided. Children should be dressed in clothing that might get messy with paint.
Family memberships are available at the Center for $50 per year and include 15% discounts on all future classes and activities at the Center. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling (812) 522-2278 or email us at email@example.com. SICA is located at 2001 N. Ewing Street in Seymour, Indiana.
